I don’t even know where to start with this serie. It’s probably one of the most incredible person i ever met. I was taking some time off from the place i was working in. It was during a summer in cognac FR, i was a team leader on an international youth camp. I decided to buy some booze and go to relax the whole day next to the river. When i start sitting on the grass next to a tree, this dude came out of his caravan, he wanted me to share my booze and smoke some pot. I said “why not i have got time”. He started to tell me his story. 10 years that he was on the road. One day, he decided to buy an old (giant) caravan in a junk yard. He only kept the structure, and rebuild it as a gipsy style “roulotte”, with a wood oven, little kind of shower. He told me “i decided to travel with a dog, they are more reliable than woman ” and start to laugh. At some point he told me i could have some opium that he had in a little box, it was a bit late, i was already a bit drunk i decided to say no. After that we went outside and he told me how he was travelling since more than ten years now, that he was his second tractor, and that he could not go faster that 10Km/h on the road. He had time to enjoy landscape and his trip. to survive, he was living on donation but on little wooden puzzles as well, as we can see on pictures, that he was doing and selling on christmas markets for kidos. This story happen more than 5 years ago, i still wonder where he can be now sometimes. I hope he is all fine.
